Kirsten Compart
About Kirsten Kirsten has been practicing massage therapy since 2012, with 2,350 hours of training completed in Vernon, BC. Her approach is posture-focused—she observes how clients walk, stand, and sit to understand how their bodies hold tension and adapt. She works to realign the body by releasing shortened muscles and supporting weaker areas with simple, targeted strengthening techniques. Her treatments are always tailored to the individual, whether someone is seeking deep, therapeutic work or a gentler, more relaxing session. Kirsten sees the body as an interconnected whole—sometimes releasing tension in the hips is what’s needed to free the shoulders. She combines structural insight with a gentle, intuitive touch. Kirsten has pursued additional training in visceral manipulation, pregnancy and fertility massage, Mayan abdominal massage, dynamic assessment, and gentle joint play techniques, including positional release. She also incorporates myofascial work, lymphatic drainage, and principles from osteopathic techniques and Anatomy Trains to guide her treatments. She has a special passion for working with pregnant clients and those looking to reconnect with their bodies and takes an active role in their health. Kirsten is committed to education and always offers simple, effective home care exercises to support lasting, meaningful change beyond the treatment room.
